the work of the late Deborah McKnight

My late mother-in-law was the talented miniature ceramicist Deborah Heers McKnight (b.12/28/1935 – d.9/24/2019). Beginning in 1972, she created unique miniature ceramics at the 1 inch = 1 foot scale. Her tiny foods and beautiful pottery are prized and widely collected. She collaborated with a few talented partners in the surface decoration of her pottery, notably her sister Nancy Heers Warner. We have organized a detailed inventory of the finished ceramic work in her personal collection with photographs of the work. Most of her work is in other collections and not yet reflected in this virtual catalog. We have created a Facebook group to allow others to enjoy McKnight’s work and to share information.
